Camping (Spoken Word Poetry?)

Here's my first take at spoken word poetry. Days after I wrote these lines, I realized that this is actually spoken word poetry. So, here it goes...

The day will come when the stars will shine and the sun will set. And water will wave across like a net; when wolves will relax and fire will flame, marshmallows will burn and chicken will grill. And a lucky few will warm their palms with the fire that flames, and morning will see men and women swim in the great lakes and camping it will be called when them and us will unite and celebrate the joy called life.

The first time I learned about spoken word poetry was from a video by Sarah Kay, on YouTube. For those of you who want to know more about this, check-out the video below of Sarah Kay performing "Hands" when she was 18 years old.
